Installing Winpriser

Image251.gif (935 bytes)Insert the Winpriser Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.

      The installation program should start automatically.

      Follow the instructions on your screen, then go to Step Image252.gif (952 bytes) below.

      If the Winpriser Installation software does not start automatically, follow these steps:

A. Click on the button on the Windows taskbar.

B. Select the menu option.

C. Specify the name of the installation program to "Open" by typing D:\Setup.exe in the Open field.

Note: If your CD-ROM drive letter is not drive "D:", then substitute your CD-ROM drive letter in the "Open" field above.

D. Click the OK button.

E. Follow the instructions on your screen then go to Step Image252.gif (952 bytes) below.

Image252.gif (952 bytes) The installation software will start Winpriser automatically.

Winpriser is now installed!

 

Please note:

By default, the installation procedure will use C:\Winpriser20 as the installation’s target path. You may change it to another directory and/or drive.

Winpriser Professional Edition is a multi-user application and may be installed onto a local area network (LAN) server. Detailed network installation instructions can be found on screen at the beginning of the installation procedure.

The Winpriser installation procedure will also install pricing data for one or more Allpriser Price Catalogues. You will be asked by the installation procedure which, if any, Price Catalogues you would like to install.

To start Winpriser at other times, click on the button on your taskbar. Move your mouse over the Programs menu option. Locate the Winpriser menu group and click on the Winpriser program item.

OR

The installation procedure will have created a Winpriser 2. shortcut icon. Locate this shortcut on your Windows desktop and start Winpriser by double clicking on the icon.

There are several ways to learn how to use Winpriser:

On-Screen Videos

A set of videos is included on the installation CD. The videos will show you how to use Winpriser’s features. View the videos by clicking the button on the main toolbar in Winpriser.

 

Winpriser Tutorials

This manual includes a series of lessons containing step-by-step instructions on how to use Winpriser.

 
Winpriser Help

The Winpriser program contains an extensive built in Help system that allows you to search for topics or words. You can also get popup Help messages by clicking on a screen feature.
