The Rates area in Winpriser is used to store your supplier's discounts, your markups, markdowns and standard hourly labour charges.
The Discounts tab, shown below, is used to store discounts from any number of suppliers. After you have added the supplier's name, you continue by adding Discount Descriptions and Discount %'s to match the descriptions and percentages on the discount sheet provided by your wholesaler.
Rate sheets can be duplicated making it easier and faster to set up multiple suppliers.

After you have set up Discount Descriptions, you use the Assign button to tell Winpriser which catalogue items belong to each description.

The discount rate appear in the catalogue window when you look up an item.

When your supplier issues new discounts, you simply type in the new discount % on the supplier's rate sheet. All assigned items automatically receive the new discount.
